What is Supermag Q?
Supermag Q - a recent Vesuvius development - is a new range of magnesia-carbon bricks that are formulated with an enhanced matrix additive package.
The Supermag Q improved matrix brings higher stability in product quality and show improved or at least equal performance thanks to an improved corrosion resistance.
The new Q grade range of Vesuvius products is a continuous development of our magnesia-carbon products and will be sold under our Supermag family.
An optimized matrix additive package
The matrix additive package has been engineered to enhance matrix corrosion resistance. Matrix and aggregates are wearing at even rate, optimizing performance.
Case studies showing better performance
Customer trials with our Supermag Q have shown better, or equivalent results compared to standard bricks. This product is compatible with Aluminum and silicon deoxidation.
