Vesuvius manufactures a complete range of dense aluminium resistant bricks and castables ideally suited for ladle linings used for transferring hot metal from the pot room to casthouse furnaces at primary smelters.
ALUGARD* aluminium resistant bricks and castables provide high quality durable ladle linings. The superior non-wetting properties and high strength of these products ensure that the ladle linings are easily cleaned and maintained whilst providing extended service lives.
STEIN* and NETTLE*dense alumina firebricks provide a good economic ladle lining with reasonable aluminium resistance and good strength for easy maintenance.
