The Vesuvius Group launched the Safety Breakthrough programme in 2008 to achieve “best in class” safety performance.

The aim of Safety Breakthrough, which sets out the principles defined in the Vesuvius Health & Safety policy, is to engage the Group’s 10,000 employees, at all levels of the organisation, through training and promoting safe working practices.

This strong safety commitment also extends to customers in the exchange of safe working practices for the benefit of all.

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of the Vesuvius workforce because nothing is more important than life.
